About The Founder
Born From a Journey of Becoming
The vision behind The Arewa Pageant was shaped by Founder Abby K.’s own journey through adversity and rebuilding.
Her experience created a deeper purpose: to build the kind of platform where women navigating difficult chapters—including survivors of domestic violence and other forms of adversity—can find community, rediscover their confidence, reconnect with their identity, and recognize that there is still purpose beyond what they have endured.
The Arewa Pageant was created from the belief that a woman’s hardest chapter does not have to become the final definition of her story.
